WHAT CNN STANDS FOR:

In the past, my conservative friends have always said that CNN stands for the "Clinton News Network". After watching the Democratic National Convention last night, I'm beginning to think it stands for "Conservative News Network".

Last night's program director kept placing cameras on the craziest looking people in the audience. At one point, they zoomed in on a insane-looking woman who was crying during the national anthem. Another time, they framed an extremely effeminate man dancing to James Brown. However, the capper was when a sleeping Rob Reiner was caught on camera during the Gephart speech.

Seems like someone's trying to drive folks away from the Democratic Party by portraying the convention-goers as nut jobs. If this is the network's goal, they should've just aired more of the night's boring speeches. Man, were they dreadful (with the exception of the Obama speech).
