Well, it's here. The long-anticipated release party for the Drive-By Truckers' newest, "The Dirty South". Two nights, back to back at the 40 Watt. David Barbe opens tonight, and Truckadelic plays a special reunion show to open on Saturday. Get tickets today ahead of time at Lo-Yo-Yo Stuff or Schoolkids Records because it will sell out both nights.

For those less-inclined to rock it in a packed-out 40 Watt filled with baseball caps, there's always the Sun Ray Music Festival. Not too far of a drive, and the line-up is pretty cool (and diverse) - lots of Athens folks there (and Cee-Lo!). See this Banner Article for more info.
