Jimmy Fallon + World Series = Movie Shoot

First I read this article on CNN which explains the re-write for an upcoming romance movie starring Jimmy Fallon. Apparently the script centers around the 2004 Red Sox season... However, due to the surprise ending of the Sox season the script had to be re-written. So they sent a skeleton crew to the deciding Game 4 to shoot a few scenes for the end of the movie.

It then occurred to me that I saw Jimmy Fallon on the field during the team's celebration after the game. He was looking overly dramatic while hugging and kissing a blonde woman. Turns out this was Drew Barrymore (his co-star). So... Fallon and Barrymore were on the field at the end of Game 4 shooting a scene for their movie? Did I imagine that, or did anyone else see it?
