World Series: Fox and Scott Stapp

Couple of items regarding last night's World Series:

- Fox Sports just pisses me off. Usually when the visiting team is about to clinch a series, fans in their hometown are shown throughout the game so that TV viewers can monitor their reactions. However, Fox kept showing a bar in New York City! Of all places!! Was there not a bar in Boston that was showing the game? It wasn't until the 9th inning that they began to show Bostonians... after having to watch New Yorkers' reactions all night. The night that the "curse" is broken would seem to be the ideal night to show hometown Sox fans. Dontcha think?

- Whew! Did anyone see Scott Stapp sing God Bless America??? (BTW, I only provide a link because of the hilarity of the scottstapp.com front page.) It was awful! But funny! It was soooo.... flat.... and.... breath-y. Yikes!
