After returning home from the show Saturday night, Dan Matthews sent us a review and pics of the Le Tigre show:
"This show fucking rocked my world. Feminist radicals chanting songs and slogans with fists pumping all around the 40 Watt Club. Three ladies showed how it should be done, and done very well. This should well be included in my top ten all time shows in Athens. LeTigre played many of their more recognizable tunes, included "T.K.O." and had the crowd singing along. They encouraged audience participation on every other number. This band is the logical extension of the Clash, Blondie and the B-52's rolled up into their own expression of power, passion and joy. The two ladies from Clemson, including one named Jessica Parks who is being kissed, danced on me all evening."
