Parker & Lily, Summer Hymns, and Ginger Envelope play the 40 Watt. Flagpole says this about P & L and this about GE. Summer Hymns is of course, great. It'll be a sorta sleepy show, but nonetheless enjoyable. Have a coffee beforehand.
Another option would be Ishues returning to the Athens stage for his first actual performance (not a rap battle) in a while. He moved off to SC, as far as I know. Anyway, if you're in the rap mood, there's that.
Finally, former Lona drummer Mikey Dwyer performs at Lunch Paper (his solo debut?). I don't know what his music sounds like nor anything about the other performers on this "Songwriters Night", but he's a cool guy and I expect good things.
