Black Christmas: The remake will be helmed by none other than Glen Morgan and James Wong of X-Files and Final Destination fame (and Willard, another remake).
The Devil's Rejects: Yahoo's got a new trailer for this movie here. The older trailer is still here. It's supposed to be better than House of 1,000 Corpses.
Friday the 13th: Making Friday the 13th: The Legend of Camp Blood has shipped from Amazon, so it should be in stores now or very shortly! Excitement!
Intruder: Scott Spiegel's great 1988 grocery-store slasher is coming to DVD on April 5th (it is aka Night Crew: The Final Checkout!). Amazon's got it here. It's an uncut version apparently, which I can tell you is a wacky bit of fun (from my bootleg VHS). Raimi fans will especially enjoy... he has a cameo, and Bruce Campbell also appears. And you should definitely check out another film by Mr. Spiegel, "Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except," because it is also awesome.
Let's Scare Jessica to Death: Not a remake, but a movie with the same title is being made.
Masters of Horror: Showtime has picked up the rights to what will be 13 hour-long films by horror movie masters Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Larry Cohen, Roger Corman, Don Coscarelli, Joe Dante, Mick Garris, Stuart Gordon, John Landis, Tobe Hooper, and George Romero.
