The fix reports that "Ricky Gervais, of the BBC's "The Office," and his production partner Stephen Merchant have signed a deal with HBO to bring a show called "Extras," about an aspiring actor, to U.S. cable TV." Sounds interesting...

...but the real reason I mention this is to say that Mail Clerk commented that Dubya seemed very David Brent-ish last night during the press conference. Can we convince HBO to hire Gervais as the star of a show about an American president? Call it "Freedom and Liberty"... or "The Right Wing"... or "People Say I'm Blunt".
