This Weekend In Athens
I'm not even here and I'm posting... damn, now that's dedication.
FRI: I don't know what to say here... it's kinda a quiet night, it seems. I mean, there's
Built To Spill at the
Watt, but most of their fans already know that. If not, there's
this and
this.
And I'm assuming the 6PM
Redneck GReece performance at
Jot 'Em Down is still a weekly thing. One of these days I'm gonna make a point of catching it. But I'll prolly delay 'till it's gone, which is sad cause it's fun music and good food and early on - why haven't I been? Oh well, soon.
Anyone got any other suggestions? Comment away.
SAT: Venice Is Sinking releases their new split EP at the
Tasty World. It's melodic and catchy. Soft, but not sleepy. Definitely worth catching.
Murder Beach and
Count are there too - not too shabby a lineup. More
here.
Of course, there's also a rare appearance by
Trunkfire at
Foxz for country-ish fans and also more good rock n' roll over at the
Caledonia with
Viva and
Producto. More on the latter show
here.
