Tonight In Athens

Erik Hinds, master and creator of the H'arpeggione, will be playing that strange stringed instrument at the 40 Watt tonight. It's something to see if you haven't before. Strangely mesmerizing if a little "free-jazz-ish".

Also, my apologies to Casper & the Cookies and Jesse Flavin for forgetting to list their shows yesterday. Somehow, I'd just convinced myself that there wasn't anything going on last night... boy, was I wrong. As it turns out, one of my absolute favorite acts of the last few years, Soltero, was in town for a very rare appearance (w/Jesse), and I completely missed it too (anyone see any Atlanta listings for them anywhere tonight?). Hope someone caught it.
