Plan-It-X Fest rides into town today and begins at noon at Tasty World (music's not till 5PM). Why should you care? Cause it's Carrie Nations' farewell performance. That's it after tonight. One of the best punk bands in town ever calls it quits. Another good reason to care: Madeline's come back to town for the show as well. So, go check it out. I think the live music lasts till 11, then there's a DJ. Or so says this article.
But if you choose to stay your ass home tonight, then check out UPN at 10:30 (just after the news). It'll feature Pylon, The Whigs, and others in some some sorta Athens-centric broadcast apparently (or so CS read in Hillary's site's comments).
