Call For Help

It seems that the Salvation Army off of Sugarloaf Highway (nearing the I85/Hwy 316 intersection) is in desperate need of food and toiletries for Katrina refugees. They are at capacity and in need of immediate tangible resources. If you are driving to Atlanta in the next few days, please consider stopping by the Salvation Army with canned goods and/or toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. If you are unable to drive (also depends on the current gas shortage), you may also send goods or monetary donations to them.

If the Salvation Army is not your thing, the Atlanta Community Food Bank is also in immediate need as well. While I would normally suggest giving money to the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund, Atlanta is presently in need of our help at this time.

Thanks for lending a hand and your heart. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just passing this message along to others to get the word out.
