Tonight In Athens

Wow, there's a helluva lot going on...

First off, Pylon's headlining at Nuci's Space tonight. They're helping kick off a big week for Nuci's - Fifth Anniversary week. Lots more info on all this here and here. Happy Birthday to the Space!

Also, as if you didn't know, background-music-on-the-OC-and-in-the-Gap stars Of Montreal make the 40 Watt a dancing mecca tonight. They're always fun (except when some tiny dancer keeps bumping into you over and over and doesn't seem to care like what happened last time to me... but that's another story). Anyway, it's rarely a let-down. Well-deserved notoriety.

There's some great math-y stuff next door at the Caledonia where Cinemechanica will be playing. And the always-enjoyable Col. Knowledge and the Lickity-Splits over at Tasty World. Be nice to Col. Knowledge bassist Aaron if he seems out of breath at the show, cause he'll be hiking it from Little Kings where his other band Vicariously Through Cats (who I hear from several folks are great) will be playing a benefit of some sort there with The Visitations and others.

So go, choose...
