
Flock is a new browser that was created "to build tools that empower people and smooth out some of the more hairy parts of living and working online." In short, it's made less for web browsing than web participating. The software integrates browsing with tools such as blogging, social bookmarking, photo sharing, etc.
For example, to create this post, I highlighted some text, clicked, and dragged it to the "blog this" panel. Then, a blog editor appeared (pictured below) w/ the highlighted text quoted/linked and ready to go.
I then found the photos for my post using the Flickr toolbar, and popped 'em right into my post. Easy as pie.
There's still a few bugs in the browser, but it's still a "Developer Preview" so that's to be expected. However, in a few months you guys are really going to be loving Flock. Especially those of you who blog.
Oh yeah... I should've said this at the top of my post... Nerd Alert!
