In an effort to promote community developement, an anonymous donor has given a very large amount of money to the Kalamazoo school district. This donation will ensure that every high school graduate in their district gets a full, or partial, 4-year scholarship to any Michigan college of their choice! Now how's that for generous?

And if you haven't heard by now, Pat Robertson is an idiot. Earlier this year, he called for the President of Venezuala to be assasinated. In his latest media stunt, he told the people of Dover, PA (who voted against Intelligent Design being taught in their schools) that if they have a disaster in their area, not to turn to God, since they rejected him from their city. And though the article I linked to this morning doesn't say it, I heard on the radio that he told them to turn to Darwin instead of God when they needed help! Now why do a million people a day watch his show? No seriously...why do they?

Last but not least, if you think the Beatles get enough airplay as it is, now they have a new territory to conquer...space!
