It's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and chances are that you may not be doing much at work on Wednesday, so why not head downtown for some music tonight and stay out a little late. Portland's Jerry Joseph (Jackmormons, Stockholm Syndrome) will be at the Caledonia supporting his solo effort Cherry. It'll be two sets of acoustic guitar-based songs. While that may sound a little on the snoozy side, it's definitely not. Jerry is a fantastic songwriter who can really bring a song to life, and actually have something to say while at it.
If you are looking to crank up the volume a few notches, Mother Jackson will be over at the Tasty World tonight. If neither of these work for you, there is always karaoke at any number of bars in town. Don't scare the neighberhood.
