The great, loud force that is Southern Bitch returns to the stage with their new drummer for one of their increasingly infrequent outings to open for Cowboy Mouth at the Georgia Theatre. Should be loud and awesome and hopefully they'll preview some of the new stuff from their upcoming album Strong Medicine. They rock in spite of the brick-wallin'. In fact, if any band deserves their own brick wall, it's them.

Also, the very impressive math-rock-ish-ness of Cinemechanica can be heard with lots of other folks over at The Secret Squirrel tonight as well. Like I'd said yesterday, they are definitely one of the most impressive bands to see live in this town (in that they're amazingly precise). They're gonna play Popfest and then hit the road for a long time, so you oughta catch 'em soon. Thanks to Jeff for the heads up!
