Tonight In Athens (Halloween Edition!)

Well, it's another Halloween around town - for my money probably the best Athens holiday there is. Can't wait to see all the costumes tonight. Here's a rundown of all the shows, mostly covers...

-"JuJu" (Siouxsie & The Banshees covers - f/Mike Mills and other people who aren't in R.E.M.) at the Go Bar

-"Heavy Petty" (Tom Petty covers) and The Shut Ups' cover set (featuring a possible appearance by the great Michael McDonald, we're told!) at the Caledonia

-"Gabba Gabba Hey!" (Ramones covers) & "Goo Goo Muck" (Cramps covers) at Tasty World

-Tramps Like Us (Springsteen covers), Big Eyed Beans from Venus (Captain Beefheart covers), Fuck This Band (Mclusky covers), the Replacements Nine (Replacements covers), Telenovela's covers set, and Cinemechanica at the Secret Squirrel

-And of course the Krush Girls' annual Halloween party at the 40 Watt.
