Can't believe I missed this news item, but it seems the Drive-By Truckers will be taking it back to the old school. Specifically, Patterson & Cooley are gonna get together and perform songs by their old band, Adam's House Cat, at Nuci's Space on December first to benefit friends of theirs who are burdened with heavy medical costs. Should be a great night of music. Of course, if you check your calendars, there's like 100 great shows that night. So you're gonna have to pick and choose and commit to something.

Oh, and for any of y'all that missed DBT's 40 Watt shows, Sloan's got 'em up at Southern Shelter. I'd also like back him in once again calling for Cooley to do a solo album. Seriously.
