Phosphorescent plays one of Matthew's last coupla' shows before shipping off to NY in a few weeks. The also rarely-appearing act The Good Ship will be opening as well as new official up-and-comers Titans Of Filth. It all goes down at the 40 Watt. More here.

Also of interest: Telenovela and Claire Campbell will be challenging people not to shave (yes, I"m serious) over at Transmetropolitan, outta-towner Angela Faye Martin (who I've not heard but who was quick to jump on the TDJ friend wagon on myspace, so props to her) at Flicker, and country songstress Gillian Welch over at the Melting Point.
