Since this was way late, figured I'd give it its own post... Jay Gonzalez (of Nutria) now has a weekly residency as a piano player at Kingpins. He says: "Big Ed Connelly over at Kingpins has been nice enough to let me be the official lounge piano player every Wednesday night from 8-11 in the Spare Room Lounge ... though I'm not against the odd Sinatra cover or requests, I'm going for more of the pop rock version of the piano man, doing 50's rock and roll crooner stuff, 60's brill and bubble gum and Beatles, 70's am hits and power pop stuff, the inevitable yacht rock covers and so on..."

We'll try and keep posting about these shows weekly, cause I'm surely gonna go see a few of 'em (and bowl and drink and eat cajun food). In addition, Nutria will be playing there this Sunday with the Silos at 8PM.
