FRI: The Flip Scoldjah and Excalibrah mend their eternal feud to briefly share a stage and bring the hip-hop world to its knees momentarily as they open up for Dr. Dog at the 40 Watt. Balee Dat. Also, down at Caledonia, The Owen 4 (featuring former Annaray, Daisy, and Jack-O-Nuts members) performs along with Push!. More here on that.

In addition, several of the folks from The Titans Of Filth will be over at Hot Corner Coffee performing in various incarnations. And for hip-hop fans, there's like 1000 local emcees performing as part of "The Insurgency" upstairs at Tasty World. More here.


SAT: Atlanta's Black Lips roll into town courtesy of Chunklet to perform at the 40 Watt as part of their CD release shows. Also rolling back into town along with them is Dark Meat who've been on a Southeastern tour for the last couple of weeks, which still has a few more days yet to go (btw - hasn't Jeff been commenting this whole time?). This'll be an awesome loud show folks. Without a doubt worth seeing. (More here and here.)
