Tonight In Athens

Didn't think I was gonna post, did y'all? Anyway, today would have been Johnny Cash's 75th birthday (Is that right? Seems young.). In honor, some folks are getting together to perform his songs at the
Caledonia. Of course you know
Don Chambers & Goat are heading it up. There's also
Clay Leverett and
Birds & Wire, who I'm unfamiliar with. Also,
Pete McBrayer is gonna be hosting, but I have no idea how you tribute Cash through comedy. We'll see. Doors at 9PM, which is kinda early for the Caledonia.
Also, next door, the Japanese powerhouse
Elekibass is performing at the
40 Watt. They can rock power pop like nobody's business.
Ice Cream Socialists are with 'em too.
