The Flaming Lips play Athens for the first time in a while - F'pole says 4 years. That's a long while. Is it sold out? I think it is, but I'm not sure. It's in the Classic Center Theater, right? Not the giant echo chamber that Wilco and Weezer were in, right? Does anyone run a more informative blog that has answers to these questions? Also, the Marshall Tucker Band (in some form or another) is playing the Georgia Theatre. It's a benefit for St. Jude's and the scepter will be wielded.
And if those big shows aren't your speed, our friends in The Help will be playing Tasty World as well.
