RIAA Still In Bad Mood, Taking It Out On College Students
The RIAA is suing 15 UGA students cause they didn't pay for "My Humps" or "Kryptonite (I'm On It)" or "Anything By John Mayer". Actually, we don't know what song they didn't pay for that ticked off the suits. But I'm pretty sure it's one of those cause no one in their right mind would pay for them.
Now, in my old age, I've come around to actually paying for most music I acquire. Some stuff's outta print, some stuff I wanna sample first, and some stuff someone in my family already owns (which is legal to copy - check those laws!). That being said, the RIAA needs to realize that their real problem is that they're not putting out albums that anyone wants to own anymore. Oh well.
Till then, we're in solidarity with these UGA Students. Unless one of them is
Gene Whitner Milner III.
