Scene of the Crime

Today is the release day for soul singer Bettye LaVette's album Scene of the Crime. Her backing band on the record is Athens' own Drive-By Truckers. Here's a video about the making of the record, as well as some great pictures. They cover songs by Willie Nelson, Elton John, and the late great Eddie Hinton, among others.
