Mail Clerk is out of town for a few days, so I'm taking the reigns. Let's see....
Looks like we're too late on mentioning that Peter Alvanos was playing Mama's Boy at 9 a.m. today; however, do not fear because according to his Flagpole blurb, he will be cruising around town playing different venues all day long, while being filmed. Seriously...that's what it says.
Don't know about you folks, but I'll be checking out The Hold Steady tonight with openers Art Brut and Demander over at the 40 Watt. Here's the lowdown on that show. We also have The Ones over at Flicker tonight and 63 Crayons over at the Caledonia. There's something called Tobiases-XL over at Little Kings tonight, where all the members of the band Gemini Cricket's are dressing up in tribute to local musician Jeff Tobias. And on your way home, maybe stop by the Go Bar for a Twin Powers DJ set.
