Rob Veal & Friends perform at Flicker tonight. Rob is definitely a fantastic songwriter and what the F'pole says is true - he's very understated to the point that people often miss the great lyricism (he also tends to mumble through a few lyrics here and there, which doesn't help). So understated in fact that the only pic I could find is of him with the Dashboard Saviors from way back when (check out Todd's hair) - Rob's the one on the far right. Well, well worth your time to check out, though, if you're into singer-songwriters at all.
Also, although it's not listed, I think Jay Gonzalez'll be at Kingpins as well, seeing as though it's Wednesday. Don't quote me on that, though.
But if you really wanna put it in high gear, Rick Santorum will tell you how to fight Islamic Fascism at the Tate Center.
