Hey Everyone!,

Anyone out there ever wanted to run a music blog?!?

Sadly, my time in Athens in coming to a close somewhat soon. Already incredibly out of touch, I can't imagine what I'd be like as a blogger if I weren't even living here. Desktop Publisher will be around, and I hope she'll keep volunteering her services after I'm outta here, but we didn't want to shift the whole burden onto her. So, we're putting out a call for a new blogger or bloggers who want to contribute here.

The reality of these duties is that you'd have to pay domain name fees (CS could tell you the cost - somewhere like $10/month, maybe less?), be up on local music with somewhat of a wide-ranging yet discriminating taste, and commit to post something each weekday that you possibly can (basic HTML a plus but not needed - I didn't know any when I started this stuff).

For all that, you will receive little to no credit and certainly no notoriety, financial benefits, or journalistic stature of any sort, but sometimes you get media passes to AthFest cause they're nice to us. Feel free to buddy up with people to split those duties and costs like CS and I did way back when.

If you're game, e-mail us and let us know and tell us about yourself and what you dig. Do this only if if you won't get your feelings hurt if you're not chose. If there's no one to take over, this site may disappear after July and no one wants that. Well, some people don't want that.
