Where's the party at, sirs?

FRI: It's a full covers show tonight with both Heavy Petty & ZZ Topless at the Georgia Theatre. Both of these bands will make you question why you don't own more of their covered artists' music. And seriously, in addition to all his purported superpowers, Kevin Lane can also rock.

Also, there's another installment of the Jammy Jamm series at the 40 Watt - tonight with A. Armada, Deaf Judges, and others. It is of course free and should get started around 9:30.

If none of that is your bag, there's also Lake City at the Caledonia, My Unborn Children (decent music for a cringe-inducing band name) at Flicker, and Jeremy Wheatley at Go Bar.


SAT: More Jammy Jamm at the Watt with what seems like an even bigger lineup - featuring Folklore, Iron Hero, King Of Prussia, and The Buddy System among other. Again, cheap as free and beginning around 9.

Also, there's Nightengale News at Go Bar, The Brothers Marler at Tasty World, and Betsy Franck & The Bareknuckle Band at the Melting Point.
