Tonight In Athens

While I'm still happy that Canadaphilia faded in the rock press, it's awesome to see
The New Pornographers rolling into town tonight. They're at the
Georgia Theater and
Okkervil River opens the show - a pretty appropriate combo. Please don't freak them out with your strange and different culture.
Speaking of strange and different, two different members of Garbage Island will be doing shows at
Flicker -
Mark Kaczmarek and
Craig Lieske.
But before all that - there's
Patrick Carey at the
Caledonia at 6 PM for a special Happy Hour show.
And if you're looking for more upscale or more "free", the
UGA Symphony Orchestra will be performing at
Hodgson Hall.
