Tonight in Athens

Holy crap, there's a lot going on tonight.
The
Flagpole Music Awards take place over at the Morton Theatre with performances by
The Buddy System,
David Blackmon,
Twin Tigers,
Spring Tigers, and others.
There's also another Jammy Jam show tonight (free) at the 40 Watt. This lineup is
Circulatory System,
Mouser, and
The Visitations.
Rock covers will be king over at the Caledonia tonight with
Powerload (AC/DC), Supernaut (Black Sabbath), and Paster of Muppets (um, Metallica, as if you couldn't figure that one out). I've seen the first two and I can assure you that they both kick ass.
DJ Kurt Wood will be spinning records at the Rye Bar,
Justin Evans and others tonight at Little Kings, and
Ken Will Morton with a bunch of bands I've never heard of are over at the Tasty World.
Pretty much every venue has something going on tonight, so take your pick. In addition,
