Tonight In Athens
It's a good night for music in Athens.
There's a nice lineup at the 40 Watt tonight with Mufreesboro band
Glossary, and locals
Sleepy Horses, and the
Holy Liars at the 40 Watt. I haven't seen the Holy Liars, but I really dig on Glossary's last album, in so far as a really solid rock album goes. (It's a free download on their website.)
Sound Houses (used to be the New Sound of Numbers), along with Roanoke band
The Young Sinclairs and Sunking! over at Caledonia. There's also
Mouser at the Go Bar and long-time songstress
Iris Dement at the Melting Point.

The Tasty World is hosting a good lineup tonight with
Pride Parade and
The Dumps. As far as spinning records go, we have DJ Kurt Wood at the Rye Bar.
We've almost made it to Friday, folks. Hang in there.
