Tonight in Athens

Once again, Athens doesn't rest just because it's a Monday. There's
Sleepy Horses at the Caledonia,
Lazer/Wülf at the Tasty World, and
Dan Nettles (Kenosha Kid) at Farm 255. (I went to his show there last week and it was excellent.)
If you are up for games, there's music trivia at Little Kings and Let's Make a Deal at the Georgia Theatre.
Happy birthday to
Mama's Boy. They are celebrating their 2 year anniversary tonight with an hors d'oeuvres buffet, live music and a cash bar. (I ate their food this weekend and the mashed potatoes were heavenly.)
On another food note, don't forget it's
P.L.A.C.E. week, which is a "
week that encourages people to buy, eat, and live locally while at the same time creating truly distinctive culinary experiences in Athens with locally-grown food." There's 12 participating restaurants and lots of fundraisers. It's definitely a cause worth supporting.
