Tonight in Athens

Tonight marks the final show in the Sunflower Music Series at the Athens Botanical Gardens. Hope for Agoldensummer, with special guest Jean Spencer, will be playing outside from 7-9 p.m. Update: The show at the Gardens tonight will be moved inside. Here's an update from William Tonks: 

Tonight’s acts will sound really, really good in the Conservatory, and it’s music at an hour that allows us to rise in the morning, not early afternoon, and there’s beer, wine, and really tasty Cheerios Snack Mix. We’ll leave the light on for ya.

Also outside this evening is Dan Nettles' solo gig at Farm 255. Clay Leverett will be performing a solo set at the Tasty World, and Jittery Joe's Eastside will be showing the Sonic Youth film Corporate Ghost: The Videos 1990–2002.
