News is creeping out about the upcoming release from Booker T, his first solo album in 20 years. The Drive-By Truckers serve as the backing band for the album (cut at David Barbe's studio), and Neil Young laid down guitar for something like 10 or so tracks. (Though he was not in Athens, mind you.)
And in the non-music world, Ron Howard is doing an Arrested Development movie. Discuss.
