Upcoming Event: Pup Strut

BLVD and Hotel Indigo are teaming up with our friends at True Love Canine Rescue to host “The First Annual Pup Strut” on Wednesday, August 25 at Hotel Indigo beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Pup Strut will feature a dog fashion show, music and a raffle, with a chance to win products from local pet boutiques. The event will also offer cocktails, canine-inspired fashion and most importantly a chance to adopt a pet from TLC Rescue.

TLC Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to rescuing unwanted dogs from animal shelters and placing them in foster homes. TLC is “committed to working responsibly within our means at all times as we rescue, foster and ultimately find permanent homes for abandoned and unwanted dogs in Georgia,” according to its mission statement.

The organization began in September 2008 and has rescued numerous dogs from shelters since its opening. For more information on TLC Rescue, and how to become a volunteer, visit their website.
